Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Hide Online and other games, our website, and related services provided under the Hitrock brand (“Hitrock”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains what information we process, why we use it, which third-party services help us operate our games, and what choices you have.
Information We Process
The information processed depends on the game, platform, device, features you use, and your privacy choices.
Account and game data
Our games may use a device-based identifier to create or access a game account. Depending on the platform, you may also use Google Account, Google Play Games, or Apple Game Center.
Account and game data may include Player ID and authentication identifiers, nickname and avatar, progress and statistics, inventory and virtual items, virtual currency, purchases and entitlements, settings and preferences, friends and social information, and multiplayer or gameplay information.
We primarily use Microsoft PlayFab to store and manage game-account and backend data.
Your nickname, avatar, game status, gameplay information, and other information you choose to share through multiplayer or social features may be visible to other players.
We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Technical and diagnostic data
When you use our games, we and the services we use may process technical information such as IP address, device or installation identifiers, device model, operating system, app version, language, country or approximate location derived from technical information, network information, and session information.
We use Unity Cloud Diagnostics to help identify crashes, exceptions, and technical problems. Diagnostic reports may include installation identifiers, device and app information, logs, and technical details about an error.
We do not intentionally write chat messages to diagnostic logs.
Advertising data
Our games may display advertising. We use Unity LevelPlay to manage advertisements from multiple advertising providers.
Depending on your device, region, privacy choices, and the advertising provider, advertising services may process advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, ad impressions and interactions, measurement information, fraud-prevention information, and privacy or consent signals.
Chat and communications
Our games may include real-time text chat. Chat messages are sent to other players in real time. We do not keep a chat history.
We use automated filtering to reduce inappropriate content, and chat can be disabled in the game settings. Our multiplayer provider processes messages and related technical information as needed to deliver real-time communications.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, Player ID, message, and any attachments. We use it to respond to you.
Website
The Hitrock website does not intentionally use advertising or analytics scripts.
The hosting and network services used to deliver the website may also process standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, request times, and security logs in order to deliver and protect the website.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate our games and website, create and maintain game accounts, save progress, provide multiplayer and social features, verify and provide purchases and entitlements, show and measure advertising, diagnose technical problems, protect our services, prevent fraud, abuse and cheating, and respond to support or privacy-related messages.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the services you request, for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our services where permitted, with consent where consent is required, and where necessary to meet legal obligations.
Advertising and Privacy Choices
We use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present advertising privacy choices where required. Where privacy options are available, you can review or change them using PRIVACY OPTIONS in the game settings.
On iOS, we use Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework where required. You can change your tracking permission on iPhone or iPad in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Acknowledging this Privacy Policy does not by itself give consent to optional personalized advertising or tracking. Where consent or permission is required, it is requested separately.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate our games. Depending on the platform, region, and features you use, these may include:

Not every provider is used on every platform or during every game session. Some providers process data on our behalf, while others may process data for their own purposes under their privacy policies.
Where we share user data with third parties, we require them to provide the same or equivalent level of protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by the applicable app-store rules.
Account Deletion and Retention
You can delete your game account from the game settings.
You can also request account deletion by emailing privacy@hitrock.com and including the game name and your Player ID. We may ask for additional information to verify that the account belongs to you.
Deleting your account starts deletion of your PlayFab player account and the data associated with that account. The process may take some time to complete and cannot be undone.
Deleting your game account does not automatically delete data that third-party services process independently. Some of that data may not be linked to your Player ID or otherwise be identifiable by us.
We keep personal data under our control only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the game, responding to support requests, security and fraud prevention, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. We do not keep a history of real-time chat messages.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent where applicable.
To make a privacy request, contact privacy@hitrock.com. When relevant, include the game name and your Player ID.
Our ability to locate information associated with you depends on the identifiers available to us.
Children
Our games are intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that personal data under our control has been collected from a child under 13 in circumstances where it should not have been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Security and International Processing
We take reasonable steps intended to protect information under our control from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. We also rely on the security measures of the platforms and services used to operate our games and website.
The services we use may operate in multiple countries, so information may be processed or stored outside the country where you live.
No online service or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective Date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
